The residential development consists of 84 units, set within a thoughtfully landscaped environment. Green spaces are seamlessly integrated throughout the site, including along the main roads, fostering a serene and welcoming atmosphere. Spacious communal areas are designed for residents to engage in recreational and social activities, with active frontages providing natural supervision and enhancing security. New pedestrian and cycle links improve connectivity and encourage sustainable movement.
Basildon
Block of flats designed with a restrained and cohesive palette of materials, creating a strong sense of unity and identity. Elevations are defined by a refined simplicity, with carefully considered brick textures adding depth and shadow. Attention to detail is evident in the use of textured brickwork, strategically placed to enrich the simple forms and introduce a sense of movement through shifting light. Harmoniously toned materials are complemented by bronze-coloured windows, while generous glazing and balconies bring rhythm and animation to the façades.
Willow Tree Cottage
This energy-efficient rural home blends seamlessly into its surroundings, combining practicality with a timeless form. Brickwork grounds the structure, while a portion of the front elevation is finished in vertical blackened timber cladding. Brick masonry selected for its durability and low maintenance. Dark-toned composite aluminium and timber windows provide a modern contrast. The roof is finished in dark red tiles, chosen to complement the overall design. High-quality, long-lasting materials have been specified to ensure the home ages gracefully.
